It has taken me a while to get around to writing this review. At the start michele was extremly helpful. I was a first time biker and had my heart set on a speed triple. My test was booked but i had not yet got my licence. Michele had a speed triple up for sale so we negociated a price which included delivery which was perfect for me. It was top money for the bike but i thought i would be getting a top bike as he assured me the bike wanted for nothing. Anyway a month later i passed my test insured the bike. Eagerly got on it to take it for a spin... first stop was the petrol station as it was delievered empty. This was when the disaster struck. Fueled it up... the fuel started running down the side of the bike. Immediately rang michele. Who was less then helpful. I ended up having to pay out of my own money to get the bike to him. Then had to threaten him with court to get him to agree to drop the bike back to me. None the less the bike came back. Tank paint work it scratched. Of course he knew nothing of this and it must of been done before... yeah right. Long and short of it is. If you want to ger ripped off with a bike that he will promise is mechanically sound when he himself hasnt even ran it before then go ahead. Its a 50/50 chance whether you get a good one. Ruined my first biking experience. Would never buy a bike here again. Hope this helps
I brought a Yamaha yzf r125 from Michael crumpton he was very polite and friendly and to add very genuine, the bike was very clean, he always rings you when making arrangements, Michael even sorted out my mot thats what I call good honest business I would recommend Red lodge Autos to any one buying used bikes from Michael. 5***** Clifford Guy
Did a part exchange on a bike in good faith with this company and have unfortunately experienced nothing but problems since. The owner did offer to pay half of our garage costs for the initial issue but the ongoing issue where the bike is cutting out by itself he is unwilling to help any further with and washed his hands of it even though the bike was purchased recently and should still be in the warranty period and in my opinion if it is cutting out it is dangerous. If anything happens to my husband as a result of this fault whilst he is riding the bike he got from you, I will be holding you fully accountable.
